Almost 20 years since the unmistakable greeting "eh oh!" was heard on television sets, the Teletubbies have returned to the small screen with a new star-studded cast.Bringing the show into the 21st century is Absolutely Fabulous actor Jane Horrocks, who voices the character of the new tubby phone, a mobile gadget which is said to transport Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po into the modern day.She is joined by British stars Jim Broadbent – best known to younger viewers for his portrayal of Professor Slughorn in Harry Potter – and DJ and presenter Fearne Cotton.
It's a special day for yellow Laa-Laa. Big yellow flowers grow in Teletubbyland and a yellow balloon leads Laa-Laa to Tiddlytubby Umby Pumby.
The Teletubbies take turns to go up and down on the Dup Dup. Sometimes they go fast and sometimes they go slow - and even the Noo-noo has a go.
Tinky Winky and Dipsy both want a go with Tinky Winky's bag and start to squabble. The Noo-noo sucks up the bag and only gives it back when Tinky Winky and Dipsy are ready to share.
All the Teletubbies are stuck. Tinky Winky's hand is stuck in his bag, Dipsy's hat is stuck, Laa-Laa's ball is stuck and Po is stuck on the Tubby Slidey.
The Teletubbies enjoy a game of What's Your Name? Later, there's a surprise when a bowl of Tubby Custard joins in with the game.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po enjoy a game of musical statues. It takes the Teletubbies a few turns to work out that when the music stops they must stand very still.
The voice trumpet leads a game of I Spy where the Teletubbies have to spot different colours - purple, green, yellow and red. What or who can they spot with those colours?
