Almost 20 years since the unmistakable greeting "eh oh!" was heard on television sets, the Teletubbies have returned to the small screen with a new star-studded cast.Bringing the show into the 21st century is Absolutely Fabulous actor Jane Horrocks, who voices the character of the new tubby phone, a mobile gadget which is said to transport Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po into the modern day.She is joined by British stars Jim Broadbent – best known to younger viewers for his portrayal of Professor Slughorn in Harry Potter – and DJ and presenter Fearne Cotton.
Chaos ensues when the Teletubbies accidentally leave the Tiddlytubbies' gate open and some of them escape into Home Dome.

The Teletubbies go on a very special picnic on Thursday and eat lots of Tubby Toast.

The Teletubbies are about to go on the Tubby Custard Ride with the hat, bag, ball and scooter when they realise there is not enough room. The Noo-Noo looks after their things.
The Teletubbies enjoy doing Round and Round the Garden, especially the end of the rhyme where they all tickle each other. The Tiddlytubbies have tickly fun too.
The Teletubbies travel by Tubby Car to the Hidey Hup, where they all spin around on the Tubby Spinny.
The Teletubbies eat lots of Tubby Toast and make a huge pile of crumbs. Luckily, the Noo-Noo is on hand to clean up.
Laa-Laa and Po drive the Tubby Car to the Hidey Hup and take turns on the Tubby Bouncy. Tinky Winky and Dipsy arrive and they have a go at bouncing too.
Tinky Winky learns to play the didgeridoo. The Teletubbies do a special didgeridoo Tubby Phone Dance. Tiddlytubby Ping loves the didgeridoo too.
Po finds a teddy bear in Teletubbyland. Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po excitedly show the teddy to the Tiddlytubbies and they all love it very much.
Tinky Winky, Laa-Laa and Po pick delicious green beans. The Noo-Noo puts the beans into the Tubby Custard Machine and out comes tasty, green Tubby Custard.
It's a windy day and the Teletubbies collect lots of leaves that have blown off the trees. The leaves go everywhere in Home Dome, so the Noo-noo cleans up.
The Tubby Car takes the Teletubbies to the Hidey Hup where they discover the Tubby Slidey. Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po have great fun sliding down again and again.
The Teletubbies have fun moving backwards and forwards. The Tubby Custard Ride goes forwards, then backwards, then forwards again.
It is sleepybyes time, so the Teletubbies say goodnight to the Tiddytubbies. But Po isn't tired and goes for a special ride on her scooter.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po drive the Tubby Car to the Hidey Hup where they discover the Tubby Uppy Downy. They have fun going up down, then down up.
It's a special day for yellow Laa-Laa. Big yellow flowers grow in Teletubbyland and a yellow balloon leads Laa-Laa to Tiddlytubby Umby Pumby.
The Teletubbies take turns to go up and down on the Dup Dup. Sometimes they go fast and sometimes they go slow - and even the Noo-noo has a go.
Tinky Winky and Dipsy both want a go with Tinky Winky's bag and start to squabble. The Noo-noo sucks up the bag and only gives it back when Tinky Winky and Dipsy are ready to share.
All the Teletubbies are stuck. Tinky Winky's hand is stuck in his bag, Dipsy's hat is stuck, Laa-Laa's ball is stuck and Po is stuck on the Tubby Slidey.
The Teletubbies enjoy a game of What's Your Name? Later, there's a surprise when a bowl of Tubby Custard joins in with the game.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po enjoy a game of musical statues. It takes the Teletubbies a few turns to work out that when the music stops they must stand very still.
The voice trumpet leads a game of I Spy where the Teletubbies have to spot different colours - purple, green, yellow and red. What or who can they spot with those colours?
The Teletubbies go 'this way, that way' on a Tubby Car journey to the Hidey Hup. The Tubby Spinny goes 'this way, that way' too.
During the Tiddlytubbies' Sleepybyes, RuRu is wide awake. Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po take it in turns to sing him a lullaby. When the Teletubbies sing the lullaby together, it sends RuRu off to sleep.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po take it in turns to listen to music through a pair of headphones. The Teletubbies love dancing to the music they hear.
The Teletubbies swap places in the Tubby Car and drive to the Hidey Hup. They swap places again on the Tubby Uppy Downy before going up and down.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are trying very hard not to make any noise. Then they make as much noise as possible during the Tubby Phone Dance.
