The Affair

During an interrogation for a murder investigation, Omar and Hala are asked to recount the day they first met in a restaurant in Hurghada.

As is the case every summer, Omar and his family stay with his in-laws in their summer house where he feels like an outsider, but this year is different.

While shopping with his wife, Omar meets Hala who pretends not to know him. Later, they cross paths at a party and decide to embrace the chemistry between them.

When his father-in-law's publisher shows interest in his novel, Omar asks for Hala's help to start conducting research about the region.
