And who can forget the Partridge's frequently exasperated manager Reuben Kincaid, who would become an important member of their family whether he liked it or not?
The Partridge Family is forced to add another member to the group, a young girl who can't sing a note.
To raise money and create publicity, Ruben hosts a contest where the winner can spend a week with the Partridges at their home.
