Next Episode of Thuis is
A Flemish series about the daily trials and relationships of the inhabitants of a town in Belgium.
Lowie and Frank realize Luc's video was an announcement to his suicide. They find his car by the barn and when they look in, they see Luc hanging there. They take quick action and Tim can reanimate Luc. Lowie and Frank are totally shocked, while Julia thinks it would have been better he had died. Everyone thinks Marianne killed Geert with a paper knife. William and Hélène make a statement to the police they saw her stabbing Geert. Marianne contradicts this strongly by saying Hélène killed Geert, but Marianne was seen with the knife in her hand and not Hélène.
Lowie remembers his father saying how proud he was of him and he was never happier when he was with his son. Frank looks at Luc's suicide DVD again and breaks into tears. Julia is clearly upset, but she absolutely doesn't want to visit Luc. She's still very angry he tried to commit suicide, but wasn't successful. The doctor tells Lowie Luc's brain suffered a shortage of oxygen which could lead to brain damage, but it's not clear how much it will infect him. Marianne gives a statement to the police saying Hélène killed Geert, but all the evidence and witness statements are against her. It suddenly dawns on her Hélène and William work together. William is Henri. The police charge her with manslaughter and she's taken to the police-station. Hélène realizes she needs to get rid of her phone with the incriminating text messages from Henri.
Some feel guilty that they might have driven Luc to commit suicide, others think it's all his own fault. Julia couldn't sleep all night, but still refuses to visit Luc at the hospital. Frank does visit the hospital and learns from Lowie that Luc suffered brain damage. If he will wake up, he might be nothing more than a plant. The opinions differ if Marianne is guilty or not. Eddy is worried about the money Geert promised them for Britney. He doesn't trust Hélène will give them Geert's money.
The whole Bomans family is still affected by Luc's attempted suicide. Eddy asks Hélène about the money Geert promised them, but she's still too upset and is appalled by his question. She wants to lay Geert to rest next to his daughter. Ann finds this a very moving thought. William gives Peter a letter to give to Marianne. He says he's still behind her. Peter can't see a conspiracy between him and Hélène. Rosa and Peggy had a bad year with the B&B and decide to work together with Peter and sell Withoeve products after all. To Peter this is not enough. He wants to terminate their lease and gives them a year to move out. Femke finds this move rather drastic after they said they want to cooperate after all.
Lowie tells Julia that if Luc survives, he will need a very long rehabilitation. And he doesn't intend to stick him into some convalescent home. After she visits Luc briefly in hospital, she goes to Peter. She wants a very quick divorce and she doesn't want any of his money. Marianne is charged with murder in the first degree. Peter tries to think of a way not to get her life sentence. Ann franticly tries to clean the blood stain in the practice. Femke doesn't like it all Peter didn't confer with her first before making such an important decision. Emma gets a letter from Danny and is totally stressed out. Toon is in a bad mood after he kissed Judith yesterday. At first she kissed him back, but than she slapped him. She doesn't want a relationship with him. Bianca goes back home again. Simonne thanks Yvette for the diner she put in her fridge to help her in these difficult times.
