Next Episode of Trefi Gwyllt Iolo is
Iolo Williams introduces us to the wildlife living in towns around Wales.
Iolo Williams continues his quest for wildlife in Welsh towns. This time, he finds foxes, badgers and otters roaming during the night. In Wrexham, badgers are visiting a housing estate and they take an occasional vegetable from the gardens. In Haverfordwest, foxes are using a path through a church yard to access the town and they look for food near rubbish bins in Carmarthen.
This time, Iolo finds thousands of birds flying to town to spend the night. On Cardiff's busiest street, wagtails are keeping warm above shoppers. A huge flock of jackdaws assemble at the end of the day on a Llanelli industrial estate. There's an amazing aerial display by starlings around Aberystwyth pier.
This time, Iolo discovers rats in Llanelli and catches mice in Bala. In Merthyr Tydfil, a grey wagtail has built a nest in a cage above the Taff. In Carmarthen and Llandudno, gulls are taking advantage of life on the street. And in Gorseinon and Dolgellau, beautiful and rare birds visit gardens.
In the last in the series, Iolo Williams looks for town wildlife all over Wales. In a Pontypool garage he comes across a false widow spider which can sometimes give a nasty bite. Mice have made a home in a garage in Colwyn Bay and a hedgehog visits a garden for his nightly supper in Deri in the Darran Valley.
