Two children, brother and sister Dasha, aged 11 and Danya, aged 13, suddenly disappeared from home in the Irkutsk region.  The children had been living in a foster family for several years. In June 2024, the whole country watched with tension one of the most resonant searches of this year. Two children - Grisha and Vika Krepp - disappeared on the border of the Tyumen and Sverdlovsk regions. Two beagle dogs were with them and also disappeared. The children disappeared under strange circumstances. They went fishing with their grandfather, but the man returned and his grandchildren did not.

In September 2024 in Moscow, 8-year-old Maxim disappeared from home while his mother was away for a while. When she returned, she found the door open and the apartment empty. Suddenly one morning he came out of his building and disappeared.

In May 2024, 2-year-old Polina Merkulova disappeared from the yard of a private house in the Kemerovo region at the time when her mother went to the store, and her grandmother, under whose care the girl stayed, was distracted for a minute. As soon as the mother discovered the disappearance of her daughter, she immediately ran out in search of her. But Polina as if vaporized. Neither traces of the child, nor someone who saw her on the street, could not be found.
