Three generations of the Ottink family work together on one farm. Each has a different vision for the future of their beloved dairy farm. Woeste Grond shows the emotional and recognizable dynamics of a farming family balancing tradition and modernity.
Despite the shock, the men at De Weuste are united. That other wolf must also die. Marloes forgives Bats. Romy has to bend over backwards to keep some space for herself. While Britt does her best to make room for her relationship.
Grada and Marloes see that Gregory is quite traumatized. But will he let things rest? Dinant mentally prepares himself for his surgery. Lianne is worried. Romy doesn't want to date anymore. But the girlfriend wants Romy.
Grada paints Snoek an overly detailed picture of his father's business. Snoek's eye falls on Tonya, who is clearly hiding something. Lianne sees cow Margje struggling and shows off her farming skills. Marloes sees no future with Gregory. Otto's view of his future is not too rosy. Tessa is blind to this.
Snoek takes a look under the hood of the rugged Tonya. Otto refuses to give up. Romy is extremely worried when her mother seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth for almost 24 hours.
Vera settles back down at De Weuste. She is the lively center of attention. Not everyone is happy about this. Bats suspects the talkative veterinarian of "driving by the meter." Otto organizes a free trial coaching weekend, but the happy Tessa doesn't know anything about it yet.
Otto pretends he doesn't have time for a potential customer. Bats absolutely refuses to dance to Grada's tune. Snoek's senses are stimulated on all sides. Romy's new friend's advice comes at a price.
The experiment with the calf comes to nothing. Bats twiddles his thumbs while Grada swirls around the dance floor in the arms of another man. Britt and Sasha change their tune a little after taking Bats' advice. Lianne is downright broody.
Otto outlines his plans for collaboration, but his father and brother dismiss them without hesitation. Vera's new patient shares her sadness and concerns. Snoek receives his poker winnings, but this appears to have negative consequences.
Bats is not happy when Grada starts dancing again. Vera sees her daughter's chatbot's intentions very clearly. Lianne has her period again. Tessa and Otto are relieved when a big job looms on the horizon. Poker in the Peerdenstal is a shady business.
Romy feels seen again and sees the chatbot for what it is. Snoek sees possibilities for the old barn. Dinant admits that he sometimes prefers not to confide his joys and sorrows to a human being. Bram realizes that his family is having a hard time.
Otto feels neglected by his parents. Snoek sees no hidden motives behind the overly friendly behavior of the men at the Peerdenstal. Doo cannot keep anything from her mother. Lianne kept something from Dinant.
Britt doesn't understand why she sometimes acts so nasty. Snoek wants to play with the big boys and ignores warnings. Bats wants to celebrate Grada's graduation with expensive wine, but the evening turns out differently.
Bats draws the wrong conclusion about Grada's dance partner and has to quickly backtrack. Bram and Vera go out riding. Otto's team-building session seems like beating a dead horse. Snoek is a sore loser.
Britt is increasingly looking forward to what is to come and is surprised with a cheerful baby shower. Dinant has to say goodbye to his favorite cow. Lianne is not the only one interested in the old barn.
Romy lectures her grandmother. Wim's talent for chemistry may come in handy. Are Otto's students hopelessly stubborn? Bats is not good at admitting defeat. Vera gets to know Bram from a different side.
Marloes sees a lot, but she sees little in Mitchell's plans for the future. Snoek understands why he was dumped. Wim feels comfortable in his new role. And Snoek sees how the poker game is being played.
Britt sees Sasha kissing someone else, but doesn't make a big deal out of it. Vera feels guilty and ends her secret affair. Mitchell is very sensible in matters of love, much more sensible than Pascal.
Dinant tries to keep up appearances despite the bad news. Bats is up to something. Snoek tries to keep Bats away from the drug shed with a ruse. Doo refuses to say what happened.
Britt gives birth to a son at home. The delighted grandfather and great-grandfather both hope to be named after him. Drug waste is dumped in a field near De Weuste. Lianne tries to stay strong, but feels weak.
Tonya wants to run away with Snoek. Bram stands his ground in every respect, which works out differently with his son than with his daughter. Grada is pleasantly surprised. So are Dinant and Lianne.
