Two teams of amateur collectors have an hour at an antiques fair in which to acquire the best bargains possible with £300.
At Wetherby Racecourse, helping the reds and blues to race around the antiques fair are experts Philip Serrell and Paul Laidlaw, but who will romp home with a profit at the auction? Charlie Ross over sees the proceedings and finds time to learn about an historic Yorkshire game brought along to the fair by the local Kirklees Museums.
In Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Eric Knowles takes up the reins with experts Charles Hanson and Caroline Hawley. The reds and blues shop till they drop, hoping to bag themselves a bargain and make a profit at auction. Meanwhile, Eric learns more about the Norman Cross collection from the Peterborough Museum.
Natasha Raskin Sharp is in charge today as Bargain Hunt visits the Westpoint Arena near Exeter. Two sisters take on husband and wife as they race against the clock to buy three items in 60 minutes, with Danny Sebastian and Gary Pe keeping the red and blue teams on track. Meanwhile, Natasha learns about a mysterious book from the Far East.
Bargain Hunt comes from Yorkshire's Elsecar Heritage Centre. Anita Manning leads the proceedings and she's joined by experts Kate Bliss and Jonathan Pratt. The reds and blues have the choice of an antiques centre as well as an antiques fair to find three items on a budget of ú300. Fingers crossed they make themselves a profit at auction which today is with Knutsford auctioneer Nick Hall.
The Bargain Hunters are at the Westpoint Arena in Exeter. Natasha Raskin Sharp presents with experts Danny Sebastian and Gary Pe on hand to help. Natasha also hears about a famous local Victorian shoemaker whose career took an unusual turn.
