Next Episode of Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls is
unknown.
As part of this year's Stand Up to Cancer campaign, Bear Grylls abandons 10 celebrities on an uninhabited island in the Pacific. Alone and marooned in just their clothes and with a handful of basic tools, they must survive entirely on their own.
After a tough swim to shore, Towie star Pete Wicks takes control and leads the group through the jungle looking for a place to camp for the night. But his decision to leave most of the fresh water behind at their drop off point is questioned by Love Island star Montana Brown. As the extreme weather worsens and thirst kicks in, Pete sends Olympic rower James Cracknell and boxer Anthony Ogogo to retrieve the jerry cans, while transgender campaigner and journalist Paris Lees joins him on an urgent hunt for a fresh water source.
It's been less than a week since Bear abandoned 10 celebrities on a remote island in the Pacific and the brutal conditions have already forced one of them to quit. Now, the nine remaining celebs are starting to crack under the pressure as they battle huge tropical storms. A war of words erupts between journalist Paris Lees and Towie star Pete Wicks as they struggle to keep the fire alight. Tensions continue to get out of control as the group try to resolve the lack of food. Olympic rower James Cracknell is unable to contain his irritation that not everyone is pulling their weight in camp. An old brain injury which can affect his ability to communicate sympathetically makes matters worse as he attempts to keep his escalating conflict with Paris from boiling over. As her physical condition continues on a downward spiral, Paris is eventually given an ultimatum by the whole group: either do more work or face serious consequences.
After 10 days marooned on the island, the eight remaining celebrities are running on empty. So far, they've focused all of their efforts on fishing for food. But with the nets repeatedly empty, tensions mount as Love Island star Montana Brown and boxer Anthony Ogogo decide to go hunting for meat, against the wishes of Towie star, and animal lover, Pete Wicks. Actor Eric Roberts finds it hard to let go of his Hollywood habits as his behaviour in camp tests the group's patience. Until a huge personal crisis reveals a more vulnerable side to the movie star, causing the group to rally round their campmate as they work to turn their situation around.
The tropical storms and a pescatarian diet's making the celebs exhausted and grumpy. When a pig shows up nearby, the group's different reactions send shockwaves through the camp.
With the celebrities still reeling from the accidental death of the pig, Pete is in pieces, and they're all starving. And Pete is put in a dangerous situation wtih a shark.
After marooning 10 celebrities on a remote Pacific island, Bear finds out how they coped as the participants talk candidly about their tropical experience.
