Next Episode of Travel Man: 48 Hours in... is
Richard Ayoade takes a ruthlessly efficient approach to travel, covering everything top tourist destinations have to offer in just 48 hours.
Chris O'Dowd joins Richard in Vienna, were the pair taste the city's sausages, wine and spirits and visit a fairground.
Mel Giedroyc joins Richard in Paris, were the pair taste the city's snails, take a cordon bleu cookery class and make some bespoke perfume.
Noel Fielding accompanies Richard on a trip to the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
Richard is joined by Greg Davies as the pair head to the Russian city of Moscow. The pair walk into a military parade rehearsal as they try sight-seeing, head to one of the strangest circuses in the world and visit a museum which serves genuine space food.
Richard is joined by Rob Delaney for two days in Seville.
Richard Ayoade is joined by Jo Brand for a two-day spell in the italian city. The pair stay at the famous Hotel Danieli, formerly the lodgings of Lord Byron, Charles Dickens and Indiana Jones, and in almost no time learn to row a gondola, take in the famous sights, sample the Venetian version of tapas, and explore the world of masks. They also road-test Whaiwhai - a book used with a map and mobile that takes people on a treasure hunt around the city - only without the treasure.
Richard Ayoade stretches the description of the mini break to the limit as he heads to the United Arab Emirates, and the oil rich city of Dubai. Joining him on this affront to austerity is actor and comedian Johnny Vegas. Richard choses all-out luxury by checking into the Atlantis Hotel, on the world's largest man-made island, The Palm. His suite has five balconies. The luxury continues with a city tour by seaplane and the world's most expensive ice cream, topped with flakes of real gold. Richard takes Johnny to the biggest shopping centre in the world, where they also have a camel sandwich and a camelccino. They also visit the observation deck of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and drive a dune buggy in the desert.
Richard Ayoade heads to super-cool Berlin for a cultural fix with comedian Roisin Conaty. They check-in at the vibrant Nhow music hotel, which boasts not one, but two in-house recording studios, with instruments available on room service. The mini-breakers sign-up for a guided city tour in an old East German Trabant car - all in first gear, and finishing at Checkpoint Charlie. They try a taster menu at the celebrated Nobelheart and Shumutzig restaurant and head out to experience Berlin's famed nightlife, including a basement bar with a vintage bowling alley. They also go to the Berlin Wall, step inside a replica Cold War apartment, and visit a biergarten in Berlin's most popular park.
