A transplant from city to farm life who has embraced her new home, Molly Yeh welcomes viewers to her cozy farmhouse on the Minnesota/North Dakota border and shares her love for the country life. It's a quiet weekend for Molly Yeh and her husband, Nick, on the farm, so Molly's making an inexpensive lunch using her favorite pantry ingredients. She starts with Harissa-Braised Chickpeas with Feta and adds her super easy Yogurt Marinated Chicken Skewers. She also makes Smashed Cucumber Salad with Mint, Tahini Milkshakes and Peanut Butter Krispy Rice Squares with a few sprinkles.
Molly Yeh's family is flying in to celebrate Chinese New Year on the farm, and there will be quite a crowd to feed. Molly's keeping it simple but special with Ginger Glazed Salmon, Carrot Steamed Buns, Peanut Butter Broccolini and, for dessert, her homemade Fortune Cookies.
Molly Yeh's making a pre-game lunch for a few friends, and it's full of delicious finger foods like her easy Asian Scotch Eggs and Crispy Oven Fries with Feta Red Pepper Dip. She also prepares Molly's Mac and Cheese Bar so her friends can personalize their own dishes. For a sweet bite, she makes Peanut Butter Blondie Ice Cream Sandwiches.
Molly Yeh is celebrating two birthdays on the farm -- her husband, Nick, and his dad, Roger. She's making a lunch menu that features both of their favorites, starting with Nick's favorite Chicken Shawarma Tacos served with a tasty Moroccan Carrot Salad. Dessert is chocoholic Roger's dream sweet treat, Chocolate Tahini Cake with Tahini Frosting. Molly also makes them edible gifts with jars of Hazelnut Sugar Cookie Cereal complete with mini heart-shaped cookies and meringues.
