Home Chef Showdown

Ready, set, grill! Three talented home chefs race to create some amazing grilled foods during the "Home Chef Showdown"! Watch the three-part series on June 22 at 8p/7c, June 23 at 8:30p/7:30c and June 24 at 8:30p/7:30c on the Live Well Network. Hosted by Chef Ryan Scott, also of Live Well Network's Food Rush, each episode of the three-part special series features three home chefs from across the country as they compete for best appetizer, grilled meal, and dessert, respectively. The dishes are judged by an esteemed panel of culinary personalities Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes), Jamika Pessoa (The Next Food Network Star), Chris Koetke (host of Live Well Network's Let's Dish), and Margo True (Food Editor of Sunset Magazine). In each episode, the home chefs compete both for the title of winner of their food category, as well as a $1,000 gift card to Cost Plus World Market.
"This special series comes just in time to kick off summer. Watch the drama unfold and tension soar as competitors are forced to work with tough ingredients and only one heat source: a grill! A charred mess forces one contestant to start over with only minutes left on the clock, while another watches in horror as her meal goes up in flames. Chef Ryan Scott creates challenges that put each of these home chefs to the test, but will leave viewers with great inspiration for summer meals. The three-episode special series premieres on the Live Well Network Sunday, June 22nd at 8p/7c, and continues on Monday, June 23 at 8:30p/7:30c, and Tuesday, June 24th at 8:30p/7:30c.
