Every episode finds Tim the "Tool Man" Taylor causing his share of goof-ups and mishaps and leaving his long-suffering wife, Jill, family and friends to mop up the mess.
A peanut rolling contest interferes with Jill's plans to spend an evening alone with Tim; Brad anticipates his first kiss.
Jill grounds Brad after she finds out that he hid a dissected frog in cafeteria food at school. Brad then gets into more trouble which causes father/son problems.
Jill catches Tim eyeing another woman's shape on a episode of 'Tool Time' when he asks her to watch the episode. Things go downhill from there as Tim tries his best to avoid situations where he appears to be checking women out.
