Every episode finds Tim the "Tool Man" Taylor causing his share of goof-ups and mishaps and leaving his long-suffering wife, Jill, family and friends to mop up the mess.
The Taylors look forward to their annual summer getaway, each for different reasons.
When Randy writes an article for the school paper disclosing Binford Tools poor environmental record, Tim feels flabbergasted.
