Rent-A-Girlfriend

The screening of his independently produced film was over, and it was now October. Kazuya was back to his normal routine, going to university and working his part-time job. With the matter with Chizuru's grandmother settled, Ruka declared that the truce was over. Ruka invited Kazuya on a trip, but they settled for a trip to a nearby hot spring resort. Just then, Kazuya received a private invitation message from Chizuru on his smartphone. "Are you free this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday?"

On the way home from the cafe, Kazuya mustered up the courage to ask Chizuru out for lunch. After a moment's thought, Chizuru accepted. When they struggled to find a restaurant, Chizuru suggested a family restaurant. Chizuru was in her relaxed, cheerful mood, drinking wine and laughing. Her radiant smile made Kazuya's heart flutter. But then, Chizuru suddenly looked at Kazuya with a serious expression and asked him a question: "Do you... like me?"

When Kazuya learns that his grandmother Kazu and his ex-girlfriend Asami have become close, he becomes wary that Asami might expose his fake relationship with Chizuru to everyone. Around this time, Chizuru is invited to a party by her actor friend Kai and asks Kazuya to accompany her as a film producer. On the day of the party, Kai tells Kazuya, who has come to the venue with Chizuru, that he wants to talk to him alone... "Hey, what do you think of these words? 'I don't dislike you.'"

Having come to terms with his own feelings, Kazuya begs Ruka to break up with him, but she refuses. Kazuya tries to force his way into confessing his feelings to Chizuru, but she gently deflects him. Moreover, she warns him about the precariousness of the current situation, as Mami is aware of their relationship but remains silent. To find out Mami's true intentions, Kazuya decides to talk to Kibe. At the same time, in the university hallway, a smiling Mami approaches Chizuru. "Hello, Mizuhara Chizuru."

Chizuru is taken to a donut shop where Mami questions her about her relationship with Kazuya. "I'll help you out, Kazuya will," Mami says, misinterpreting the situation with Kazuya and offering a helping hand to Chizuru. Meanwhile, Ruka realizes during a phone call with Kazuya that he was about to confess his feelings to Chizuru. Determined to stop the confession at all costs, Ruka shows up at Kazuya's house, intending to stay the night...

When Chizuru agrees to join the Kinoshita family on their trip, Ruka questions her about why she didn't refuse. Furthermore, Ruka falsely claims that her relationship with Kazuya has progressed, saying, "Because we've already had sex!!" Then, on the day of the trip, Kibe and Kuribayashi join them as a surprise from Kazuya. With Kuribayashi, who has previously "rented" Ruka, now in attendance, not only Kazuya but also Chizuru and Ruka are visibly flustered. A chaotic trip to Fukushima Hawaiians begins, with tensions brewing…!

The group was greeted with a smile upon their arrival at the facility by none other than Asami. Apparently, she had originally planned to come to Hawaiianz herself, but upon learning of their trip, she had waited there to say hello. However, Kazuya couldn't believe such a coincidence existed and his sense of unease grew. Meanwhile, Kuribayashi secretly called Ruka aside— "Are you still doing that? 'Rent-a-Girlfriend'..."

The group is enjoying their trip to Hawaiianz. Kazuya ends up riding a water slide with Chizuru, and his heart is racing as he finds himself in close proximity to her. As they finish the ride and get out of the pool, Chizuru notices that the top of her swimsuit has come off. "...It got swept away. My swimsuit...top..." Seeing Chizuru blushing, Kazuya's heart races, but he begins to search the area.

"Hey. What would you do if I told you I could be your real 'girlfriend'?" Mami asks Ruka as she approaches her. Mami tries to shake things up by talking about the current situation she knows, and Ruka senses something dangerous about her. After spending some time at the pool with everyone, Ruka goes to the locker room with Chizuru. Mami's words from earlier are running through Ruka's mind, and she is troubled inside. Meanwhile, Chizuru is having trouble taking off her swimsuit next to her...!?

The group enjoys the open-air bath. Chizuru, Ruka, and Kazu are having a girls' talk in the women's bath. Meanwhile, in the men's bath, Kazuya and his father, Kazuo, are talking. It seems Kazuo had previously witnessed Kazuya giving Chizuru money... Afterwards, Ruka comes out of the bath and reflects on what Mami had said earlier. The possibility of becoming Kazuya's real girlfriend... Ruka stops Kazu on her way back to the room, and they decide to talk alone. "For example, if Chizuru is lying..."

Day two at Hawaiianz. Having heard that everyone has the day free, Kazuya decides to confess his feelings today. Wanting to be alone with Chizuru, Kazuya suggests they spend some time together in their room, but Ruka stops him, and Chizuru goes to use the restroom. Seeing this, Mami approaches Chizuru. She then reveals that she witnessed the entire exchange of the "ring" between Kazuya and his mother, Harumi, and asks again— "Are you Chizuru's 'crush'? Or are you just a 'customer'?"

Chizuru, having been told by Mami that she needed an answer by the end of the day, was deep in thought about what she should do. Meanwhile, Kazuya, having been thanked by Kazu, was in a situation where he absolutely could not tell her that his relationship with Chizuru was a lie. As the situation worsened, Kazuya suddenly remembered his time with Chizuru. Recalling the many events that had happened, Kazuya ran towards the church where Chizuru was— "Listen to me, Mizuhara!"
