"Lars and Lars" is a program series that follows the two fishing enthusiasts Lars Nilssen and Lars Lenth on their fishing trips, often in search of large trout and inspired by historical fishing descriptions, such as the book "Tre i Norge ved to av dem" from 1882. They travel to various places in Norway to experience fishing happiness and challenges related to fishing, as shown in the VGTV series, among others.
In a desperate attempt to salvage the remains of a miserable fly fishing season, Lars Nilssen & Lars Lenth went to the mountains in October. Gudbrandsdalslågen lay like a freshly polished living room floor. But strange trout offered challenges that required patience and focus.
Lars & Lars are ending this year's fly fishing season 1000 meters above sea level in search of spawning trout. Together with their expert Sverre, they had a great time in the upper reaches of the Sjoa River the day before winter laid a white blanket over Jotunheimen.
Fishing for spawning fish has a long tradition in rural Norway. Nowadays it is banned and frowned upon, but in some places it is still practiced. Lars Nilssen accepted when he was invited by two dark men from Østerdalen …
Lenth escapes the Norwegian winter to Tobago to fulfill his dream of catching the world's most difficult fish to catch on a fly. Nilssen uncovers a deeply guarded fishing secret in Oslo.
Lenth is surprised by partying tourists where he hoped he could fish for a permit, but then he gets a bite. There is also a bite on Maridalsvannet, where something heavy is lurking under the ice.
At midnight, Nilssen must get to Maridalsvannet as quickly as possible. He will finally get an answer to the mystery of the terrorist fish in the drinking water. For Lenth on Tobago, it is urgent to get a permit ashore.
