Lars and Lars 2021 starts with a trout party. Lars Nilssen makes his wet dream of catching lots of trout on a fishing trip a reality. He travels to Hallingdal to meet a guy who can help him do just that.

In late autumn, Tyrifjorden's large trout swim up the Randselva River to spawn. Researchers in dry suits and diving masks drift down the river in the frosty smoke. They count individuals to gain an overview of the state of the endangered large trout population.

This fall, the Akerselva River was teeming with salmon. Drifting down the river in icy winter water to count spawning pits offers surprises and interesting discoveries.
