Mykel Hawke is a former Special Forces survival expert. His wife, Ruth England, is a TV journalist. Together, they take on some of the most forbidding and remote locations in the world. In Man, Woman, Wild they are dropped into each spot with only a knife and the clothes on their backs, they must survive as a team for four days and nights. As they test their will and their marriage, the two find common ground standing up to nature as husband and wife in the wildest places on Earth.
Stranded in a glacier, our hosts face the vast emptiness of Alaska. They must traverse the mountain of glacial ice to make it down the mountain into bear territory.
Myke Hawke returns to the stomping grounds of his youth when he and Ruth are lost in the wilderness of Kentucky. Despite a stomach bug, Myke is determined to be rescued.
Ruth and Myke Hawke must make their way out of a cave in Croatia, avoiding sinkholes and falling stalactites. Leaving the cave proves dangerous, as they have to dodge minefields.
Our hosts encounter a storm that forces them to scramble down the mountain and toward the coast. They face fog, rain and high drops off steep cliffs in the hope of finding a village.
