Lambing season continues and this time is the turn of the Herdwicks. There are high hopes for a successful year, but when one of the ewes rejects a lamb, the family has to step in.
The presenter makes a feeding station for the sheep on his mother's farm, while she moves the rapidly growing ducklings to an outside pen. The family start building an adventure playground for their pygmy goat herd out of recycled materials, and Nicola and Molly plant lavender for the bees.
The family call in the experts to help storm-proof the farmhouse that sits 1,000ft above sea level. Matt and Janice can't believe how quickly the new breed of lambs have grown and decide to bring in prized males. Progress has been made on the restoration of Mike's 1946 Dodge, and a local chainsaw carver makes a sculpture for the farm out of a storm damaged tree.
