Riko, a girl from Paldea who possesses a mysterious pendant. Roy, a boy from Kanto who possesses a mysterious Poké Ball. A new adventure for Riko and Roy begins in the vast world of Pocket Monsters ! What encounters and destinies await them!? This is a story of "discovering" something important through adventure.
The Rising Volteckers have arrived at the Kitakami Village festival! While Riko and the others are reunited with Zeiyu, Navi and Ditto are having a blast at their first Kitakami festival! Amidst all this, they encounter a mysterious child wearing a mask. They play together and become friends, but the child's true identity is the legendary Pokémon, Kyogrepon...!?
Who was the Pokémon that vandalized the offerings? Riko and the others were puzzled, but Diana and Momowarou also arrived in Kitakami Village and joined them to explore the festival. There, Momowarou encountered three Pokémon known as Tomokko: Iineinu, Mashimashira, and Kichikigisu. It turns out they were once his comrades…!?
Rico and his friends arrive at Orange Academy's school festival. Meanwhile, Navi meets the Star Gang and hits it off with them! Amidst all this, Rico and his friends are asked by Rehol to investigate strange phenomena occurring in various parts of the Paldea region. It seems that all of these incidents are happening near the "Sealing Shrine," which is said to have sealed away a calamity long ago…!?
Riko and her friends were no match for the Worst Pokémon. According to the legend told by Rehol, the four were "born from a treasure curse"... Why are the Worst Pokémon so violent? And then news arrives that the four are heading towards Table City, where Orange Academy is located. At this rate, Orange Academy and the school festival are in danger!
