Riko, a girl from Paldea who possesses a mysterious pendant. Roy, a boy from Kanto who possesses a mysterious Poké Ball. A new adventure for Riko and Roy begins in the vast world of Pocket Monsters ! What encounters and destinies await them!? This is a story of "discovering" something important through adventure.
Having finished their adventure in Laqua, Riko and her friends are spending their days aimlessly. Then, Freed comes to them. Freed invites them on a fieldwork trip to investigate an amazing Pokémon. This amazing Pokémon is... Feebas!? However, this Feebas seems quite different from the information in the Pokédex... With their own hopes and dreams in their hearts, a new adventure now begins!
News of the Rising Volteckers helping people is spreading everywhere. However, Riko and her friends have absolutely no recollection of doing so... Could there be imposters of them...? Riko and her friends set out to investigate and find out the truth. While questioning people in town, they stumble upon another Brave Asagi!? Who exactly are these fake Rising Volteckers...?
Hungry Loudbone and Lycanroc are scavenging for berries when suddenly, a cap appears... or rather, a Ditto that has "transformed" into a cap!! The innocent Ditto quickly becomes friends with the Pokémon on the airship, but... Ditto keeps "transforming" into all sorts of things, causing utter chaos on board!?
Ditto, who has "transformed" into Gurumin, crashes her live stream!? Dot is depressed, thinking it's a dark chapter in her history. But among fans, the smaller Gurumin, nicknamed "Mini Gurumin," becomes a huge hit! Dot decides to take Ditto with her to the bread festival where she had been invited to perform on stage. However, just before the show, Ditto goes missing—!?
At Freed's invitation, the Rising Volteckers take part in a Unite Battle! Their opponents are the Shining Oceans, a top-class idol team in both popularity and skill! This is Riko and the others' first experience of a Unite Battle, and they struggle against their formidable opponents. The key to victory lies in strategy, teamwork, and Unite Techniques!?
When Riko and her friends arrive in Lumiose City, they are greeted by Matiere and her assistant Navi! Meanwhile, they receive a request to find a Melecity. Their investigation reveals that it was accompanied by a large, blonde man in a martial arts uniform…
Navi is devastated after losing her Dream Ball. It was a precious gift from Matiere, given to her with the hope that she would one day achieve her dreams... Meanwhile, Ditto finds the Dream Ball that Navi dropped on the airship. Determined to return it to Navi, Ditto decides to head to Lumiose City alone...! Will Ditto find Navi and return the Dream Ball safely?!
Navi has caught a Ditto and become a member of the Rising Volteckers! Honest and enthusiastic Navi quickly makes friends with her teammates, but she just can't seem to get along with Ult... At Rico's suggestion, the two go on an errand to town, but of course, they end up fighting! And then Navi goes off on her own and gets lost—!?
