Boxing champion Laila Ali is stepping into the ring once again, this time to host Food Network's Chef Grudge Match, a single round, winner-take-all culinary battle where elite chefs come to settle long standing disputes and bitter rivalries. From employees who have been wronged by their boss to restaurateurs defending their livelihoods from copycats, competing culinary pros put their favorite knives, and egos, on the line in a bid to put old scores to bed. Each episode features two head-to-head battles where resident judge Jet Tila welcomes a guest judge to help determine who walks out with $10,000 cash, the losing chef's most coveted knife and bragging rights for life.
Laila Ali invites four chefs to resolve fiery recipe rivalries in explosive back-to-back battles. First, longtime Cuban chef Mika Leon squares off against competing Miami influencer chef Brad Delgado, accusing him of stealing her recipes and copying her content to surpass her online superiority. Then, witness an epic showdown between baller burger chefs Tommy Jobst and area newcomer Chris Lombardi to decide, once and for all, who builds the absolute best burgers in the college town of Davis, California. With $10,000 on the line and customer counts at stake, judges Jet Tila and Claudette Zepeda decide which chefs will walk away victorious.
Laila Ali invites married couples to her arena, where some are battling together, and others are battling it out. In the first match, Los Angeles restaurant owners Michael and Kwini Reed challenge their friends and rivals, Lucy and Bret Thompson, after they showed them up at a prestigious event. Then, Executive Chef Tia Raiford challenges her husband, cookbook author and "CheFarmer" Matthew Raiford, to see who gets top billing in their home kitchen. In the end, judges Jet Tila and Stephanie Izard decide who walks out with a $10,000 cash prize, a special knife from the losing chef's knife roll, and bragging rights for life!
Laila Ali welcomes four feuding chefs who had their well laid plans ruined by their careless partners. In the first round, accomplished New York restaurateur Adam Sobel seeks to publicly humiliate Boston-based chef Matt Jennings for "accidentally" ruining Adam's dish at a contentious football tailgate event. In the second round, Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley calls out elite competitor Chef Mei Lin for allowing Mei's pet pooch to befoul her chef coat before an event and sets out to prove that Mei Lin isn't above the law in a coastal seafood battle. Judges Jet Tila and Maneet Chauhan decide which chef achieves redemption, not to mention $10,000 and their opponent's favorite chef knife.
Laila Ali challenges four furious chefs to step into the arena to settle their culinary beefs. First up, trailblazing Chef Aarthi Sampath seeks revenge on her former friend and steakhouse maestro Chef Carlos Anthony, because his deliberate distractions caused her embarrassing elimination from the epic 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing competition. Then, Chopped alum Tajahi Cooke confronts his former protégé, rising star Daniel Westfall, for copying his cherished recipes without acknowledgment, without respect, and worst of all, without skill. When the smoke clears, renowned judges Jet Tila and Eddie Jackson will decide who leaves the ring with $10,000, their opponent's treasured chef's knife, and most importantly, lifelong bragging rights.
