In each episode of Guy's Grocery Games, four talented chefs compete in a number of challenges as they navigate their way through the aisles of a grocery store, adhering to "real-world" obstacles. Whether it is shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients or grabbing groceries at closing time, each chef has to shop, prepare, and plate three different dishes using whatever they can pull off the shelves. Ultimately, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs "check out," by a rotating panel of judges that includes Melissa d'Arabian, Richard Blais, G. Garvin, Troy Johnson, Catherine McCord, Aarti Sequeira, among others. The last chef standing goes on a shopping spree of a lifetime worth up to $20,000!
Guy Fieri invites two of GGG's winningest chefs to call out the all-star chefs who they believe played a part in their unexpected loss for a shot at winning $10,000. First, Laura Fonner takes on judge Aarti Sequeira, who claimed her red plating wasn't upscale enough. Then, Crista Luedtke calls out Stephanie Izard, who defeated her in tournament play. The chef who makes the best comfort classic using frozen ingredients earns $10,000.
The winners of GGG's first three episodes return for a throwback throwdown featuring the toughest games from Season One. First, Guy Fieri challenges the OG chefs to make a baller burger and side, even though all the buns are out of stock. Then, the final two chefs battle to make their best high-end dinner with nothing but frozen foods. In the chilling conclusion, the winner shops the market for up to $20,000!

First, the teams must prove they're masters of digital communication by planning a classic food duo over their smartphones that features a grocery list of mandatory ingredients. Then, the final two pairs of teammates each shop their half of the store to make a dinner party plate, which could win one team up to $20,000.
