Donald Trump is back for a brand new season of "The Celebrity Apprentice." This is the seventh installment of "The Celebrity Apprentice" and the 14th season of "The Apprentice" series.
Every week, the celebrity contestants will work in two teams - each under the guidance of a designated project manager - to compete in business-driven tasks around New York City by using their fame, along with their proven business acumen, to win challenges. Contestants are subjected to long hours, grueling deadlines, intellectual challenges, personality clashes and intense scrutiny under the careful watch of Donald Trump and his advisors.
Certain challenges encourage contestants to reach out to their network of celebrity contacts for assistance or donations, leading to surprise visits by some of the world’s biggest stars and pop culture icons. Each task will end in the boardroom, where contestants must account for their actions and be judged by Trump and his advisors. Returning this season are Trump’s children and colleagues, Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric, as well as surprise guests along the way. (source: www.nbc.com)
In the premiere episode, Donald Trump challenges the 16 new Celebrities to run authentic New York City pizzerias to raise money for charity. One team uses their celebrity power on the streets of Manhattan, while the other races against the clock to complete a special delivery that could be the difference between winning and losing. Friends with deep pockets show up and pack both pizzerias, and the Celebrities set a fundraising record. But the excitement is short lived, as one Celebrity becomes the first to hear Donald's dreaded words: "You're Fired!" Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump, Jr.

One Project Manager dreams up an imaginative theme, but its implementation is hijacked by an unruly team member. The other project manager makes a risky last-minute creative change. With the final two in place, Mr. Trump reveals the last, and most challenging task. Each finalist must produce a launch campaign for 7UP Retro, design a new can, produce a 30-second commercial, and present the entire campaign at a gala event. One finalist chooses the 1970s as the backdrop for their campaign, and the Harlem Globetrotters as the entertainment for their event. The other finalist chooses the 1980s and a concert by Def Leppard. Six fired Celebrities return to join the finalists and help them on their tasks. The 1980s finalist books Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister for their commercial, but runs into a roadblock with Def Leppard. The 1970s finalist hangs the creative for their commercial on iconic 7UP actor Geoffrey Holder, but with the clock ticking down on their shoot they learn he might not appear.
As the task continues, the finalists rush to prepare for their 7UP Retro events. One finalist's team is frustrated by their leader's lack of direction.
