A gruesome murder case brings Mick and Andreas right into the heart of the vegan food industry. While Andreas tries to stay sober, Mick rubs everyone up the wrong way. Mick and Andreas begin searching for clues amid greed, hurt feelings, and false alibis.
At a costume party at the police station, colleague Freddie Fröse is murdered. Investigators find a golden apple in his hand. The case takes a fairy-tale turn when four women in Snow White costumes become the prime suspects. One thing is clear: the perpetrator must still be in the building, and the only one who wasn't there at the time of the crime must take over the case—Mick.
At the "Pink Power" women's breakfast, successful influencer and feminist Katinka Bruckner is murdered. And although the murder took place on stage, no one saw anything. The investigation reveals that many people had something against Katinka: offended corporations, frustrated executives, and even her own husband.
