Each year, the red carpet rolls out, the celebrities roll up and the cameras roll for a night that proves how powerful laughter can be. A cavalcade of international and Australian comedy superstars donate their best five minutes of material in exchange for the generosity of those in the audience, and those watching in TV Land.
Lizzy Hoo hosts the biggest night of Australia's comedy calendar, featuring Celia Pacquola, Nath Valvo, Tommy Little, He Huang, Tom Ballard, Emma Holland, Dilruk Jayasinha, Mel Buttle, Nazeem Hussain, Kirsty Webeck, Dave Thornton, Ray O'Leary, Gillian Cosgriff, Felicity Ward and Rhys Nicholson.
Guy Montgomery hosts a star-studded line-up featuring Josh Thomas, Melanie Bracewell, Geraldine Hickey, Kanan Gill, Catherine Bohart, Danielle Walker, Dave Hughes, Lloyd Langford, Claire Hooper and Joel Creasey.
The Gala, which celebrates the festival's brightest stars while proudly supporting Oxfam, promises a night of laughter and entertainment. Hosted by Mel Buttle, it's sure to have you in stitches when it premieres on Wednesday, March 26, at 9pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.
