THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams travel to Dubai where they race camels and swim with sharks.
A tight race to the Mat in Bali has teams rowing and swimming to a boat for the pit stop, where losers are eliminated by walking the plank.
The racers visit Lembongan Island, Indonesia, where they face a double U-turn and a gut-wrenching, 40-foot plunge.
The final four teams race for a spot in the finale and a high-stakes foot race to the mat will mark the end of one more team's journey.
With the one million dollar prize on the line, the final three teams race from Shenzhen, China, to Santa Barbara, Calif., for the final leg of the Race, and face a gut-wrenching leap of faith: jump off a building more than 150 feet high, and perform the harrowing task of synchronized mountaineering.
