THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Racers travel to illusionist Harry Houdini's birthplace, Budapest, Hungary, where a puzzling Fast Forward puts one team to the test; a horse drawn carriage has teams racing against the clock.
Teams travel to Croatia; a frustrating roadblock brings some teams to tears.
The race intensifies in Croatia where one team reconsiders their alliance and another team's Roadblock strategy falls apart.
Teams skydive through the clouds of Romania and one team must catch up after struggling during a sheep herding challenge.
In Bucharest, two teams strategically use their Express Pass, eager to gain an advantage; navigational frustration reaches a boiling point for another team.
Phil sends the teams off to race through Athens, Greece.
Racers visit Milan, Italy, where one team faces a major setback when they're forced to travel an hour behind the pack; heat exhaustion threatens to end the race for another team.
The final four teams race through Moulin Rouge, the Eiffel Tower and other iconic Paris locations.
The final three teams race through New York City where they rappel down the Empire State Building and host Phil Keoghan crowns one team the winner.
