THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. The 11 teams begin their race around the world from Santa Monica and then fly to Uruguay. The last team to arrive at the first pit stop is eliminated.

The teams travel throughout Argentina during the race's third leg.
The teams travel to Catherine's Palace in Pushkin, Russia.
The teams travel from Russia to the Sphinx in Cairo, Egypt, where they must descend an ancient shaft into a watery tomb.
The seven remaining teams continue through Egypt, where one team is the victim of the race's latest twist.
Six remaining teams fly from Cairo to Tanzania and must navigate through the local town to get their next clues.
Five teams remain and a cab ride to the airport becomes problematic for some teams as they battle to stay in the race.
Five teams continue the race through India as one team chooses to go for the Fast Forward and are faced with one of the most difficult decisions a team has ever had to make.
The race continues from the chaos of India to the lushness of New Zealand.
The competition heats up as four teams remain in the battle to make it to the finish line.
Four teams compete in the last two legs of the race but only three teams will have the chance to race to the finish line and win the ultimate prize.
