And a pizza spot in Reno, Nev., is dishin' it out Detroit-style, firing up fresh focaccia with finger-lickin' chicken, lights-out lamb, and more.

There's a twist on soul food staples from a husband-and-wife team in Reno, Nev., rockin' red beans, killer collards, cornbread, and lights-out layered cake. Plus, an Asheville, N.C., joint is bringing island flavor to the mountains, cookin' hearty Hawaiian BBQ chicken and a sweet soy Spam bowl with all the fixings.
