Next Episode of The Pioneer Woman is
Take one sassy former city girl, her hunky rancher husband, a band of adorable kids, an extended family, cowboys, 3,000 wild mustangs, a herd of cattle and one placid basset hound and you have The Pioneer Woman. The Pioneer Woman is an open invitation into Ree Drummond's life: The award-winning blogger and best-selling cookbook author comes to Food Network and shares her special brand of home cooking, from throw-together suppers to elegant celebrations. The series, set against the incredible story of life at home on the range, is the next best thing to actually sitting on a stool in Ree's kitchen.
The family has been working hard shipping cattle and is ready for a fabulous lunch, so Ree Drummond is cooking up fun Spicy Sausage Dogs in a curry and onion sauce. On the side, she serves a kicking Cole Slaw with Mustard and Horseradish dressing, and for dessert, there's a chilled Kiwi Lime Pie.
Ree Drummond is taking time out to whip up some amazing dishes she's never tried before, such as Falafel with Chipotle Tahini Dip piled into a pita. Next, she gives Chicken and Waffles a shot, with a decadent maple syrup and bourbon sauce. To finish, she creates an easy upside-down Tarte Tartin with caramel, apples, and a store-bought pastry shortcut.
Ree Drummond sends a care package to her daughter Alex in college. Packed alongside ranch photos for a homesick cure are Brownie Cookies, Homemade Cheddar Crackers, spicy Party Mix and Crazy Chocolate Bark.
Ree Drummond's got the house to herself and is whipping up her favorite eats. For breakfast, she makes creamy Overnight Oatmeal with crisp caramel and fresh berries. After a long day of housework, she cooks Lamb Chops with Mint, Sauteed Green Beans with Lemon and Blue Cheese, and Baked Sweet Potato with Cream and Mint. For dessert, she treats herself to boozy Dulce De Leche Coffee.
